FOCUS ON PEACE

Giving attention to Peace.

"If we are to teach real peace in this world, and if we are to carry on a real war against war, we shall have to begin with the children."
Mahatma Gandhi

The world today is consumed by the culture of violence. It is difficult not to be touched by reminders of this throughout our daily lives when we pick up a paper or turn on a TV, play a video game...
Where are the places for peace in our lives?

If we don't give peace a place to grow, if we don't focus our attention on it, peace will remain a vague concept always outside our grasp.

The idea behind the "Focus on Peace" program is to encourage schools, parents and young people to give peace a place in their lives.

This website will eventually become a place where people will be able to share their ideas about their Focus on Peace project.
